Illustration Friday - Homage

This week's Illustration Friday topic: Homage. How in the heck am I supposed to draw that?! went through my head all week. But I didn't want to not participate since I just joined, that would be weak. The new topic is coming out tomorrow, so I put this one together real quick. My homage... is to baked goods. Baked goods make my life a better place, I cannnot imagine life without it. Fresh baked bread... cheese danish... cinnamon rolls... brownies... I can go on and on. I went through baked goods cravings during one of my pregnancies, I ate so much that I came really close to getting gestational diabetes (pregnancy diabetes), and I had to seriously cut back, and I was bummed. I can't imagine being allergic to wheat and gluten and not being able to eat these yummy treats. That is one thing I am thankful for! Collage (with pics from the wonderful King Arthur catalog) and coloring and drawing with photoshop (with a mouse! I need to get a digi-tablet...)
