Clone of a Cinnabon

With a title like that, how could you not try out the recipe? Although it was for a breadmaker, I kept the ingredients the same and proceeded. I had high hopes, but the recipe didn't quite deliver. It got late, so the second rising was overnight in the fridge. I wonder if that's where I went wrong. It just wasn't fluffy as I wanted it to be. Still tasted good though, and better than my last attempt. Anyone have a good recipe?

How funny, I have a recipe for Cinnabon knock-offs that I was planning to try tomorrow! I made some cinnamon rolls a few weeks ago, but they weren't as soft as I wanted, though they still tasted good. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow, if I come through and make them! Where did you find your recipe? I might have the same one.

It may be the altitude, too. If the yeast let out all its gasses too early, there may not have been any left for the buns. At least that's what I've read. Just a thought.

Hmmm...that's something to look in to. I've had no problems with my breads, so I never considered it. I may have rolled them too thin before the roll-up. The quest continues...
